Jaxson had his first real game that was not t-ball. It was great. He played really well. He went 3 for 3 and hit the ball down the third baseline into the outfield. He actually cought his first ball too. He is playing for the dwight mets this season and it is the first year that they get to travel to surrounding towns this year which Jax is extremely excited about. The best part of thhis years baseball season is Dan is Jaxson's assistant coach and Jax thinks that is the greatest thing ever. The sesind game his team played jax got the game ball for the awaome play he made as pitcher. That was truely exciting. Since we have two baseball games a week I will update this weekly to let everyone know how he is doing.
Zander is growing by the second. He is going to be 15 months tomorrow. He has such an awsome personality. He is talking more everyday. He says things like juice, cookie, no, hot, up, and a couple of other words as well. Now that he runs around everywhere and it is getting nice outside he is into everything. He loves to be outside and play in the dirt. I would say he probably brings me his shoes about ten times a day to let me know he wants to go outside but that is even underestimating how many times he actually does it. Getting in trouble and doing things he is not suppose to do is his favorite thing and he knows when it is wrong. He looks right at you laughs and runs away thinking I can not catch him. It is so funny to watch. Well I will keep updating how big he is getting and the fun summer things we will be doing this summer.
On Sunday May 3rd our dog was hit by a car. It was very hard for us to deal with this loss because it happend five feet infront of Jaxson and I and it is the third pet we have lost in the last six months. We had Harley for almost 3 years and she was a very sweet dog. Even though she was hyper and drove me crazy I miss her like crazy. The good news is we found a new puppy less then a week later. Hopefully this puppy will give us the same enjoyment that Harley brought us. If any of you own a pet you can relate with how we are feeling and how hard it is to lose a pet because your pet is part of your family.
If you have kids you know what I mean when I say I hope it will be years befor they are intersted in the opposite sex. Well Jax came home from school and told me that he was going to play spin the bottle at a birthday and my first thought was that it is not the spin the bottle I am thinking of. So i asked him what spin the bottle was and he said "it is when you spin a bottle and then the person it lands on you have to kiss and hug them in another room." This is when I said oh crap what am I to do now. Of course I asked where he heard it from and called his teacher so that the playground talk could be handled appropriately. NOw Jax's game of tspin the bottle is when the bottle lands on you you get a piece of candy. That is what a first grader should be thinking. It is definitely intersting to see the things your children learn at such young ages now a days.
It is finally the begining of baseball season. This is when things get crazy at the Tarnowski house. Not only do we have the cubs to watch nearly 5 days a week, but all of us except Zander are playing this year. Jaxson plays two days, Dan plays two days, and I am finally getting back into it and playing one day. Baseball is just part of our life. If anyone is interested in coming to watch Jaxson play just let us know. I will post his scheduale later on.
